Platforms and workflows in the early-preview development snapshot
Platform or workflowStatusScope
Windows desktop editorImplementedLocalized editor and installer. Recommended and Full installations include private offline Build Tools. Installed editor and CLI access require valid activation.
Browser playgroundInitial versionEdit loose source with local browser compilation, diagnostics, Run/Stop, and visual output. It does not provide the full desktop project workflow or bundled project media.
Windows application exportImplementedConsole and graphical builds for AMD64, ARM64, and 32-bit x86. The x86 target requires Windows 10 or later and SSE2.
Linux application exportImplementedAMD64 and ARM64 console and graphics. Graphical output uses X11/XWayland or a direct-display fallback. These targets do not expose Raspberry Pi GPIO.
Raspberry Pi OS exportDevice validation ongoingARM64 and ARMv7 console, graphics, and supported digital GPIO. Graphics need direct display access and suitable permissions without a competing compositor. SSH deployment requires a configured destination; the editor uses existing key or agent authentication.
Linux RISC-V 64 exportPreviewExperimental console-only builds. Graphical programs are not supported.
Phone previewPreviewOne paired phone receives supported 2D/turtle output while execution stays on the desktop. Android native-build and physical-device validation remain release gates.
Standalone web and Android appsPlannedExportable web applications and standalone Android APK/AAB packaging are separate future work.
macOS and iOSNot confirmed for releaseA validated macOS editor/export or iOS application release has not been established.

A few practical details

  • Desktop sound playback does not mean exported apps support audio. Native audio is planned; unsupported effects produce diagnostics.
  • Local work needs valid activation and follows a server-defined offline grace period. Offline Windows builds also need the Build Tools or an appropriate local toolchain.
  • Supported generated apps have no Pliro product-license check and remain independent of later subscription changes. Graphical exports retain a Pliro creation splash.
