Invoices, contacts & payments
Create sales invoices and credit notes, generate PDFs locally, and follow outstanding balances, partial payments, and reminders. Keep contact people, labels, history, and follow-up actions together.
Vastboek by Logicos Software
Vastboek brings invoices, receipts, contacts, bank statements, and reports together in a desktop application for Dutch sole traders. Keep your administration close, with local document recognition and a clear trail from document to booking.
Solo and Handel licences are available through the Vastboek product page. The latest software release has not been published there yet. Check the product page for current release availability.
Solo and Handel share the essentials for everyday bookkeeping: invoicing, purchases, bank processing, local OCR, reports, and scheduled backups.
Create sales invoices and credit notes, generate PDFs locally, and follow outstanding balances, partial payments, and reminders. Keep contact people, labels, history, and follow-up actions together.
Keep original purchase invoices and receipts. Local PDF text recognition and Dutch/English OCR propose details for review, with duplicate checks and an explicit step to post the purchase.
Import CAMT and MT940 statements, retain the source files, and review matching suggestions. Direct bank feeds are on the roadmap; importing a file does not automatically create a booking.
Work with double-entry bookkeeping, VAT codes, KOR support, period and year closing, and fixed assets with depreciation. Prepare quarterly or annual VAT reports; version 1 does not submit returns to the Dutch tax authority.
View trial balances, balance sheets, profit and loss, and period comparisons. Export PDF/CSV reports, XAF auditfiles, and checked handover bundles for your accountant. Current collaboration is through files.
Record time and business journeys offline. Create encrypted local backups and validate them before restoring. Scheduled backups require a supported installation, user session, and available system key store.
Vastboek helps prepare the administration while keeping you in control of what is recorded.
Source documents, issued invoices, and final entries retain their original content. Corrections leave a visible audit trail.
Daily local work remains available within the validity of your offline licence rights. Sending email, Peppol, company lookups, and webshop updates need a connection.
After licence expiry, local data, history, exports, local backup and restore, and controlled corrections of existing records remain accessible. New ordinary commercial actions may stop.

Current pricing and plan comparisonCatalog retrieval, explicit product matching, and stock-difference review are implemented. Complete webshop order, payment, and refund processing and sending point-of-sale stock changes to a webshop are still pending. Specific receipt printers and cash drawers are not yet connected; there is no payment-terminal integration. Peppol requires an access-point configuration and may involve provider fees.
The product catalog lists managed remote backup with Handel and as a Solo add-on. The feature matrix confirms encrypted upload capability; storage capacity, operational service availability, and any provider costs need separate confirmation.
First release platform
The desktop and machine installer are implemented, including local OCR. Scheduled backups require the machine installation and an available user session; per-user installation does not include scheduling.
Preview package
An Ubuntu 24.04 amd64 Debian preview package is implemented. Backup scheduling needs an active user service manager and unlocked key store. A signed general release is still planned.
Roadmap
A signed, notarized macOS release and Android/iOS companion workflows are future deliveries. Mobile access and synchronization are not part of version 1.
Later plans include direct bank feeds, VAT submission, quotations, mobile workflows, Samen collaboration, and a Kantoor workspace for accountants. These are separate future releases, without committed delivery dates.
Your administration and documents are stored on your own computer. Invoice PDFs, document recognition, reports, and backups are processed locally. Optional external actions such as email, Peppol, and webshop retrieval communicate with their providers.
Version 1 prepares VAT reports for your review and supports KOR. It does not submit VAT returns. Monthly VAT periods and income-tax filing are not supported; electronic VAT submission is on the roadmap.
Current exchange uses checked files, including an auditfile and supporting documents. Live collaboration, multiple simultaneous users, and encrypted synchronization belong to the future Samen and Kantoor workflows.
The Handel subscription has a 60-day trial. The product terms provide for one active business administration, without payment details or automatic conversion to a paid subscription. The product page has not published the latest software release yet; check it for current trial access.
